Damn Pigeon Co-Founder Ivan Brooks shares with C.I. the recipe for his dangerously delicious Apple Pie Punch.  Seasonal flavors of apple cider, cinnamon & honey sneakily hide the 190 proof vodka that makes this drink a one cup knockout!


RECIPE OVERVIEW

Using a large stock pot, combine sugar, honey, cinnamon & apple juice.

Bring mixture to a boil.

Stir well to to dissolve honey & sugar.

Tip: If you are crunched for time, create an ice-bath to quickly cool the drink BEFORE adding the vodka.

Cover with a lid so that it comes to a boil faster. 

Once boiled. Remove from heat & let cool to room temperature. Once completely cooled, add in vodka. Serve chilled with apple to garnish.

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 1 gallon apple juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • honey, to taste
  • 750 190 proof vodka
  • 1 apple to garnish
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Bring all contents, except vodka to a boil.
  2. Cool to room temperature.
  3. Add vodka.
  4. Serve chilled & garnish with apple.
