Kiano Moju is a Los Angeles based food video producer. Her company Jikoni is a culinary creative studio specializing in all stages of developing food video content including video production and recipe development.
Taking culinary classes since age seven, she has always been drawn to experimenting in the kitchen. Kiano was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, spending childhood summers on her Maasai grandparent’s farm in the mountains of Kenya. She grew up learning the cuisines of two very different worlds.
Her cooking style is a blend of the cuisines she has stumbled upon her dining experiences in primarily in the United States, Europe & East Africa, specializing in baking and introducing African spices and cooking techniques to traditionally Western dishes.
When Kiano is in the kitchen, guaranteed the music is bumpin’. Be it jazz, hip-hop or 90s pop music, meal preparation regularly turns into a mini dance session.
